I am a Postdoctoral scholar at Indiana University’s health policy and a research analyst at the Irsay Institute, Indiana University Bloomington. My research focuses on the effects of changes in Medicaid enrollment. I also study opioid use and state cannabis policies.

This cross-sectional study suggests that the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic was associated with significant increases in postpartum opioid fills. Increases in opioid prescriptions may be associated with increased risk of opioid misuse, opioid use disorder, and opioid-related overdose among postpartum women.
Based on primary cross-sectional data collected from cooperative member and non-cooperative member household heads, the study shows that cooperatives have a positive impact on smallholders’ income and productivity.
We study the extent to which the disruption in healthcare delivery due to COVID-19 pandemic impacted medication adherence and other measures of medication use for beneficiaries diagnosed with chronic conditions.
Using a nationally representative commercial claims database and stacked difference in differences approach, we examine the impact of state cannabis liberalization laws on non-prescription health care services utilization among patientswith non-cancer chronic pain.
